Travel and Accommodations

Below you’ll find details about hotel recommendations, as well as some suggestions on must-dos while visiting New Orleans.

Wedding Ceremony Venue

Latrobe’s

707 Conti Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Traveling by car

iF TRAVELING BY CAR, We recommend checking with your hotel regarding access to parking and price per day to keep your car in their parking lot. Also important to keep in mind that parking will likely be limited during the weekend across the city.

Where is the best area to stay in the city?

If you're planning to stay in a hotel or Airbnb, we highly recommend choosing one in the French Quarter. This will allow you to walk easily to and from the wedding venue. If you stay further from Latrobe’s, keep in mind that the French Quarter will be bustling with a parade on the evening of the wedding, so be sure to allow extra time for Uber or Lyft rides.

Traveling by plane

If you're flying into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, a taxi to the French Quarter should cost around $36. Alternatively, you may prefer taking an Uber or Lyft directly to your hotel. Car rentals are available at the airport, but note that you’ll need to take a shuttle to the rental center, so be sure to factor in extra time if you choose this option..

How should I plan on getting around New Orleans?

fOR TRansportation around the city, we recommend taking Uber or LYFT, STREETCAR, OR walking. All wedding events are centrally located within the French quarter, so you should ideally be able to get from place to place easily by walking or taking a short uber ride. You can rent a car from Louis Armstrong International airport, but parking around the city during mardi gras can be somewhat limited.
